How long did it take your newborn to eat a full bottle. Bryleigh sometimes has 2-3oz and takes about an hour to almost finish it. Shell keep falling asleep during feeding and ill have to wake her (change her diaper).

Mine just barely got to the point where shell eat 3 oz and most of the time she eats 2 oz then takes a break and usually I burp her then a few minutes later shell eat another oz

2-3 oz is a lot for a week old infant

A 6 day old baby shouldn’t be drinking 2-3 oz. you’re going to stretch her belly. 1.5-2oz per lb of body weight per day. So for example 7lb baby should be drinking 10.5-14oz per day. Ave newborn eats 10 times so 1oz to 1.25 oz per feed.

Feed your baby on demand when she wants it babies food go straight thru them soon they pee or poo they are hungry again when she had enough she will stop or when she don't want any she will refuse

@ambrerumph1440 Doctor said she will usually let us know when she's hungry. So I doubt I'm over feeding her. If she's looking for the nipple and takes it I'm not gonna refuse.

@brossymommaoftwo right I don't think you're over feeding her my baby was taking about 3 oz before he left the hospital. Right don't refuse her any food cause she knows when she's hungry and babies eat and sleep and use the bathroom that's all
