@mamagunn.no.1 i feel like she's not getting full enough. She feeds for 30 minutes and I take her off and she acts like she's STARVING within minutes. Also- might sound dumb but do I use tap water for the bottle? 🙃
Yes I been doing it for a week almost two weeks every other feeding or at night I’ll offer two ozs as long as I give breast first 15 mins each side n 2 oz I’m also pumping and I give him that too I was having a issue with his weight so Far so good which I hate I feel bad I couldn’t give breast only but my bbys health comes first no matter what
@ajowens1547 she might be cluster feeding, so you can feed on demand or if you feel like your supply isn't keeping up, supplementing is fine. My supply wasn't great and little man's latch wasn't either so at about 6 weeks I started mainly formula feeding and just breastfeeding in between if he seemed hungry or fussy. I see she's 2 weeks so most likely is going through a cluster feeding stage. And use cooled boiled water from the kettle. There's nothing wrong with supplementing her though, just remember fed is best 😊 doesn't matter how you do it, it's whatever works for you and baby. At that age they do feed alot though and don't really have a routine as such
No. Because it drops your milk production every single time you give bottle instead of boob. I pumped and used mothers milk tea to raise my production to satisfy babys hunger. Unless your pedi says its necessary I suggest focusing on nursing on demand, pumping and drinking mothers milk tea

@ajowens1547 it will help her to pee and poop more so she can get the jaundice out of her system

I agree with @bitchcraft too. It will deplete your supply as your body will think she doesn't need as much.
