My sons slept in his own bed in his own room since he was maybe 7-8 months old ... he recently the past two weeks wants momma and daddy and wants to lay with us. Does it make me a horrible mom to let him lay with us?? Can’t help but feel like maybe I shouldnt break his schedule or idk.

@Kay

He will come out of it once he realizes he is still important. Let him help with the baby when he/ she comes 😊

I would snuggle for a while and then go put him to bed in his room. See if that works. So he doesn't get used to it and then you have a huge belly and then a new born and a 2 yr old climbing in ur bed every night.

@mhbb3, this past two weeks I’ve had to rock him and let him lay next to till he falls asleep and then we put him into his own bed and he will sleep all night. But idk if that’s what comforts him for now then I guess that’s what we will do

@mhbb3, he’s only 1 year 4 months he’s at the point he doesn’t understand. But I’m thinking regression but more jealousy because he knows I have a baby in my belly he tells everyone “baby” and shows my tummy. But he’s been up our butts and not leaving our sides the past few weeks like at all. So maybe jealous

Is he old enough to explain why? If it were me I would let him once or twice and then try to encourage him to get back in his own bed. You are 17 weeks pregnant? Maybe a little regression or jealousy?
