If the cancer is just in your cervix can they just remove your cervix or uterus if they need to and you are fine? Sigh bad news after bad news.

My aunt had cervical cancer when she was pregnant they went to go remove the csncee but it was spreading so they did a hysterectomy and she lost the baby she was 17 weeks so they couldn’t save the baby. I really hope it’s not the case for you. But I thought I would share with what has happened to my aunt.

They generally can take the cancer off the cervix.

You should probably ask your doctor these questions as no one here is really certified in this area and probably don’t know specifically what’s going on with you.

It depends on how advanced it is. My doctor found pre-cancerous cervical cells during my second pregnancy and scheduled me for a LEEP procedure immediately. That was the only treatment I needed, and it didn't affect the pregnancy. So sorry you're going through this, I hope your treatment is quick and successful.

Did they say you have cancerous cells on your cervix? Sometimes they can freeze the cells off and not actually have to remove anything. I'm hoping that's what it is!

I don’t know much about cervical cancer, but when my mom had breast cancer she had a mastectomy. She was in remission for a while, but then the cancer had spread to her uterus, kidneys, and other parts of her body.

A lot of people can have the affected tissues removed and stay in remission for the remainder of their lives, but that doesn’t happen for everyone.

I’m not sure but I think they would also remove your uterus along with it to prevent any left left behind and because without a cervix your uterus will have no support.
