Talk to her about it. Let her know mommy has a baby in her tummy so she has to be careful.

It's definitely not easy, all you can do is try to explain it to him the best you can and try to divert him away from your stomach best you can. I'm 38 weeks and my son still doesn't quite grasp the idea

@angelfoodcake, oh he’s a boy lol sorry. Keep telling him so he knows he will have a baby brother on the way. Get him excited about it saying he’s going to have a new friend to play with all the time.

@angelfoodcake all toddlers will have a little jealousy at first when they realize they won't be getting all the attention they are used to getting and will probably act out a little but what I plan to do to try and make it as easy as possible for my son, since he's an only child right now, is include him in the daily care of the baby. Have him help me with things like getting something for the baby to wear or a diaper and wipes for the baby, maybe have him help with a feeding now and then, that way he's getting attention and being included because he does like to help.

I usually put a pillow in front of my belly so that we can still be skin to skin chest to chest and belly is protected lol
