All I can say is you really get what you pay for.

I use to be the manager in the nursery of one and they had security cameras in every room as well as a code to even get into the building.

@lillys.mommy yeah, I know but there's no way I can afford $600 a month for. That's more than my mortgage and utilities put together.

@incognit0 I'm going to have to, I hadn't given it much thought until the past week or so. I won't do in home daycare, but private sitter/Nanny I'm open to.

@wheelercharle4, I know what you mean. While I worked there I had 1 child in child care and received a discount and most of my check still went toward child care.

Check into what your state offers. Sometimes you’d be surprised. They may not cover the full cost but might cover a majority of it

If possible could you work opposite shift of your significant other so you both can work and not need daycare

@tashamagolan we do work opposites, but he WILL NOT watch the kids. He gets off at 7:30 in the morning, comes home and sleeps until damn near 9pm, and he has to leave by 9:45, but that's a whole other issue that I have to get dealt with.

@wheelercharle4 ok. The shift I work is 10pm to 7am. My boyfriend was a stay at home dad. But I've been on maternity leave since may 8th and don't go back until end of August or early September. My boyfriend starts a job monday that is 7am until 7pm or what time the boss says they leave during the day if it's earlier. We are lucky we don't need daycare. But during the day I was taking care of the kids even though I would sleep as well

@tashamagolan when I worked overnights, I was able to live normally but he is just not adjusting at all.
