YES. Always inspect everything for mold, bugs etc. take off all pieces you can and wash in hot water and dry on high if you can

What if it doesn’t come off ? How would you sanitize it then?

most bassinets and swings the fabricated parts come off and are machine washable. I'd clean the rest of it like the plastic/metal pieces down with like regular cleaner, whatever you're comfortable using, I like green works.

Thank you mamas!! I appreciate all the answers!!

you could hand wash it and let it air dry. get a rag or something to scrub it down with hot water and detergent. maybe clean it in your shower.

You can always check online to look for instructions to take apart and reassemble the bassinet.

Pinterest has a great cleaning method that involves soaking it in vinegar, super hot water and detergent for 30 minutes on each side and letting it dry in the sun. It’s how I cleaned all my babies second hand stuff like stroller, pack n play, portable high chair, etc. came out like new
