You can go a month after losing it or a few days. But it can also regenerate (regrow) too. So it’s not a for sure sign of labor

Yes i went a whole week or two losing bits and pieces and went into labor at 36 weeks and 3 days with my second child.

The mucous plug and bloody show are separate. I would get checked

actually if there is blood in your mucus plug yes it is the start of labor. If there isnt any blood then it can regenerate but if you are getting blood u should call and see
