I had a nice experience today....

I was shopping at the grocery store baby in sling and openly breastfeeding without a cover (my shirt pretty much covered my boob) I was holding my daughter’s head with one hand and frantically grabbing groceries with the other. an older woman came to me and took my free hand nodded to my feeding child and said, “I just really want to tell you what you are doing is wonderful, you are a good mother.” I almost cried. In a world where breastfeeding is sometimes considered “inappropriate” and “disgusting” for this women to publicly and loudly commend me, it was everything. We need more people like that ❤️
