Is it crazy for me to want to get my tubes tied at 23yrs old? I don't care when/where/who I meet in the future or what happens. I don't want to do this again! I know I don't want to do this again. I am in a full blown argument right now with a friend of 7yrs who has recently confessed his undying love for me. He wants a baby so bad and he doesn't want to be with me if I don't want more kids. Okaaaaay? There's the door then. Dude you are over 1000 miles away, I don't see you helping me raise these two little boys, you ain't the one who has to do all this..... Boi bye. EVERY SINGLE DUDE that tries to talk to me says "when WE have a baby" no no no no no no a million times NOOOOOO. I for sure don't want that. I don't give a damn if you want YOUR OWN kid. You gonna have to find somebody else then. You gon HAVE to find someone else. I repeat again NOOOOOOO

I had my first at 21yrs old, second at 22yrs old then got my tubes tied a month later (6 months ago) and now I'm 23 and very happy with my decision

@hazelnautumnsmomma125 @raquely I am going to talk to my OB about this on Monday. I'm not sure that she is even okay with doing that for me, and I was told I won't find a doctor okay with it. But I don't want to BIRTH any more children. I would be happy with adoption if I ever feel the need for another child.... I hate being pregnant. I also hate birth control and how it makes me feel. And the constant fear after sex of getting pregnant again. This will be my 2nd c section on August 27th and I am DONEEEE

No it's not crazy. If you really have it set in your heart that you don't want anymore kids, then do it! My sister got her tubes tied at 22 with no prior children because she knew she NEVER wanted any. I've always respected her decision and anyone who cares about you should also!

@babymay2016 I understand! I hated most of being preg and I don't want anymore kids. Where do you live? I'm in tx and my doctor was in fort worth that did mine

@goodleah Thank you. I do feel very serious in my decision that two is enough for me. I legitimately hate being pregnant for lots of reasons and I LOVE my children and LOVE children in general but I never wish to go through this ever ever again

@babymay2016 I got my tubes tied and a week later my hubby got snipped lol we are for sure on no more kids

@hazelnautumnsmomma125 I live in Oklahoma and I love the hospital I will be delivering at for the second time, but I want it done when I havd my c section and if she doesn't want to do it then I will most likely be finding a different hospital. My mom had three kids and they wouldn't do it at a Baptist hospital, so she switched for her third baby so they would do the procedure at the time of c section.

@babymay2016 yea certain hospitals won't do them🙄 I gave birth vaginally so I had to wait 8weeks and go back to get mine tied. But I think it'll be easier to do it with a csection

Nope just turned 25 and I’ve wanted them tied, well technically I’ve been wanting a partial hysterectomy, I’ve had pre cancerous cells in old paps before and I want to nip the problem before it gets to a worse point but my dr refused to because one I’m “too young” and I only have one kid 🙄

@hazelnautumnsmomma125 @pipelinemama Well I'm hoping my doctor will agree two kids is enough 😔 I have very bad depression and anxiety which I do not use any medication to treat... And I just don't want to do this again! It's too much pain, emotions, I can't hardly take care of my two year old being so pregnant and crazy all the time. I know for sure that two is enough for me and I won't ever be changing my mind.

@babymay2016 I also struggle with those and anxiety attacks but I take meds. its still hard though!

Not crazy at all.. I would consider a different option than tying your tubes though... Like a partial hysterectomy or something else. My mother got pregnant with me after she had her tubes tied and it’s not uncommon. I know a few people who this has happened to. Your tubes can potentially come untied.

@hazelnautumnsmomma125 I was even worse when I tried medication. I would like to find one and stick with it but the fear of getting pregnant (which SUPRISE I did) and having to stop medication, is also what has stopped me from finding the right one. Also right before getting pregnant with this baby, I had FINALLY found a medication that helps my severe constipation. And I had to stop taking it until after birth. Causes me so much pain on the daily.

@lolimedd Thank you for saying that. The father of both my boys (who I am NOT in a relationship with) and I also wanted to have a girl too... But he respects my decision and understands that I do not want to do this again. We hardly even get along but he apologizes to me everyday for what I have gone through and respects my decision on this. If ever he or I wanted to have another child then we have agreed adoption would be just a good if not better and we could whole heartedly love another child just as we love our own. Now it's all these random people who do not understand, but also they don't have kids and have NO IDEA what any of this is like!
