So I went to the wic today and they checked his height and weight and they said that he was a little smaller than most babies, mind you I just went to the doctor a week before that and he said nothing of this. he said he was growing perfect especially because me and his dad aren't tall and I ask for a second opinion from this lady that I'm seeing from Healthy Start and she said not to worry about it as long as his doctor is monitoring and knows of how much he weights and that there they compare them to every other child rather than their individual stories and of how much they weighed when they're born. And I was thinking too like how would he be tall if nobody in my family is tall or his dad's family lmao

My wic office told me that my son was over weight and to just give him two ounces and then I went to the doctor and they said he was underweight and his doctor is right he is under weight he is 9lbs at 3 months and he is supposed to be like 11 to 14 pounds according to the charts so the wic offices aren’t alway truth worthy

Also I sometimes think the women at the wic office are out to make you feel like a crap mom because every time I go they always try to make me feel horrible

@amberjacq yeah when I called them to ask for advice about switching to milk and seeing what I can do to help him eat more solids she was like well you know their stomach isn't that big it's just a size of his fist and I'm like b**** yes I know that I don't think he has my size of a stomach lmao. I don't get why everyone else is nice except for them at front desk like we don't even tell you our problems or talk to you all you do is get our cards and reload them so stop making yourself feel like you know more and you seen it all because there's always something you haven't seen. Ugh

@mother.of.2, I know it aggravates the crap out of me, I’ve literally wanted smack the crap out of someone and I am currently changing my son’s milk because he has colic and the lady on the phone was so rude when I made an appointment to have it changed this is what I said to her “hi I’m calling to see about getting my son’s milk changed to Similac sensitive because his doctor recommended it and wrote out a note to have it changed and they also gave us containers for it and he done really well with it” and she said “ugh what’s his name and birthday” and I gave her his name, and birthday, and she said “ugh what’s your name and birthday” and I gave her my name, and birthday, and she was just a complete b**** saying ugh the entire time having an attitude, and I literally wanted to just go through that phone, and beat her to death

I never listen to WIC. I just nod and say ok thinking in my head just give me my damn benefits because they told me I was gaining too fast when I dr said I'm gaining perfectly minding you I'm 36 weeks and only gained 30 pounds.
