UK INDUCTION
Have any of the UK ladies been induced using propess? I had it inserted on Sunday about 7pm and started to feel tightening a couple of hours later. It's now 325am and the pain is anywhere between 4-8 minutes apart but really pretty painful. I was monitored and they showed on the screen but irregular. I'm just wondering what it takes for my cervix or anything to be checked?

Update incase anyone else gets this.
I started contracting every 2/3 minutes from around 3am, moving to every 1/2minutes from around 9am. The midwifes were awful, and kept strapping me to the monitor which was absolutely killing me. I was literally begging to be allowed to move. At 1030 I was given cocodamol and told to go for a coffee to get in a better mood! ?? I started bleeding around 3pm and finally got the all clear to be moved to the Labour Suite, I was begging for epidural at that point and my other half bravely reminded me that I said I didn't want it. I felt an urge to push and my midwife assured me I in no way needed to push. Two minutes later she was tearing off my underwear. Arrived at labour suite at 1630, pushed baby boy out at 1652 with no medication at all. I'm absolutely in love with my boy, who took 8 years to conceive and 20 minutes to push out.
Sorry it's long, I just wanted to put a story about Propess out there because I struggled to find one. Overall I wouldn't recommend it, but I think that's just a bad experience with rubbish midwives rather than the actual pessary.
