Anyone use eucalyptus oil? I have aromatherapy lotion I’ve been using on my kiddos and haven’t had any problems but when I look online it says it can be dangerous to children under 10, I also have the matys baby chest rub which has eucalyptus in it and have used it on all of my girls. Has anyone’s babies experienced adverse reactions with breathing when using the oil in a rub or diffuser? I’m kind of worried now but I’ve been using it for a while so I’m assuming my kids won’t have any reactions to it.

I wish it theos had no problems thus far. I've diffused ir since he was born its the only thing that keeps my husband from snoring so loud and waking Theo up. Ive used the Matty rub on Theo as well and he was fine.

Yes eucalyptus essential oil is not recommend for children under 10. Just because they do not have any immediate reactions or adverse reactions does not mean that aren’t having any reaction you cannot see. It can cause long term harm.
Peppermint is also not recommended for children under 6.
