Mauriz has started chewing his nails 😑 anyone have kids who did this and how did you get them to…

How old is he?

Both mine do it and it’s a constant reminding them to stop

@mama_cole, he doesn’t do it a lot but when I do catch him doing it I remind him not to

Mine don’t do it as much now but my daughter use to do it so bad that she would make her fingers bleed

Mine is 4 and has been doing it since he was like 2 or 3. And he recently discovered his toenails 🙄

@mommy_x3, my daughter use to do that too thankfully that stopped fast. I think it’s an inherent thing cause my mother in law chews her fingernails too.

@mama_cole, yeah my husband chews his really bad! I tell him all the time it’s his fault 😂

@mommy_x3, that’s the same thing I tell my mother in law. She is getting better at not doing it.

It's actually a disorder most times associated with ocd I have it my mom used to put the nail polish that would burn your mouth on my nails I would chew right through it. Now my son does it and I try to get him to stop but he just starts back up again the minute I look away
