I hated it. I could feel it when I bent over. Hubby could feel it during naughty time. I was allergic to it. No.

I've had mine since February. Yes it hurt. It's like a take your breath away jolt of pain. I bled for 3 months. My periods are OK. Better then before. I did find out I have pcos now. I had to have an ultrasound done because it moved I can no longer get ahold of my strings and neither can the doctor. So it'll be fun to see how I'm going to get it out in 5 years. I get cramps everyday and headaches.

@shyannawheel, that sounds awful. Why isn’t there a perfect method to this?

@liz41395, the Nuva ring was my favorite. I just set an alarm on my calendar to remind me when to take it out and insert a new one. Best birth control ever.

You just put that up there kinda like a period cup? It stays good?

@liz41395, youstick it in for three weeks. Take it out. And have a period. Then put a new one in.

My iud got lodged in my cervix, I got pregnant on it, pregnancy was ectopic which is sadly common with iuds. I had to have the iud surgically removed from my cervix. Thankfully I found out I was pregnant very early and was being monitored closely so I didn’t loose my tube, however I did almost bleed to death. Wouldn’t recommend iud to anyone ever it was worst experience ever.

@mimixtmn, the reason I want birth control is to avoid another surgery 😂 I think this is the wrong choice for me. I’m going to try the ring

@liz41395, imo you are making the best decision! I thought the chances of that happening to me were too little to care and after it happened the amount of horror stories I heard was insane. Never again will I put something like that in my body.
