Does anyone suffer from Hyperemesis Gravidarum? I'm 25 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby girl and I have HG, I had it with my first baby also. I just got over an HG episode, which usually lasts 3 days to a week for me, and man I am starving now. I don't meet a lot of people who have or have had this condition, so a lot of times I feel very isolated and alone..

@beachcutie0808 Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is a pregnancy complication that is characterized by severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and possibly dehydration. Signs and symptoms may also include vomiting many times a day and feeling faint. Hyperemesis gravidarum is considered more severe than morning sickness. Often symptoms get better after the 20th week of pregnancy but may last the entire pregnancy duration.

@staceymommy2012 it's the worst. I lost about 50 lbs the first time, my weights been up and down with this one. Did anything help you with your nausea at all?

I had it when I was pregnant, have you tried diclegis, it worked for me most of the time. Its pretty pricey though. My baby was 0 percentile and small for date so I was induced, but hopefully it gets better for you and if I remember correctly i was told I couldn't take zofran too often during your pregnancy

@sdc3615 yeah I heard Zofran can cause heart murmurs in the baby.. it never worked for me anyway 😣 they've prescribed me all kinds of nausea meds, and I have yet to find relief from any of them unfortunately.. And thank you, my last pregnancy it lasted until about 7 months, so hopefully this will be over soon!

I’m here with you 😖 my first pregnancy it stoped at 17 weeks I’m currently 12 so I’m waiting and praying on my knees for it to go away my first baby did come out 9 poiunds.... so we will see

I had it with my last pregnancy! One episode I had so bad, vomited 14 times in 12 hours, I couldn’t even keep ice chips down and needed to spend the day in the hospital on an IV for dehydration. They gave me reglan for nausea. I almost lost leading up to that point bc I couldn’t function. It’s horrible!

@heart_m0m yes it is so horrible omg. This time is not as bad as the first time, but my first child it was exactly the same for me. In and out of the hospital for fluids, vomiting every 15 minutes, ugh. People don't get the mot being able to function part.. some people think I'm just lazy.. I'm like really??? I would never wish HG on anyone not even my worst enemy. It's no joke.

@jayderpoo, I didn’t have it with my first two so Idk why I had it with my third. Certain smells would even make me vomit, like coffee, and I love coffee so that was depressing!
