I had my 3rd c section on the 26th, they put that belly band on me and I didn't get to shower until yesterday morning. Well my stomach is broke out into a horrible rash. Only my stomach though. They gave me benadryl cream and it stops the itching, but it doesnt seem to be going away. Any body ever experience this?

Plus heat and belly bands make you very itchy!!

You need to take the oral Benadryl.

I had a hot itchy red burning where they applied the antiseptic before the csection. It was actually a skin infection. Is it like that? I had to take antibiotics.

Yes it happened to me both times. First time it was horrible a huge rash all over my tummy, this time I knew right away that it was from the belly band so I stopped wearing it now and it’s clearing up. I’ll start wearing it again in a week or so. Last time I started wearing it on top of my shirt after the rash cleared and I had no problems. This time I wore it on top of my shirt and I still got a small rash. For the time being I just bought these tummy control shirts and that’s what I wear.
