Breast milk or formula. Babies tummy isn’t ready for anything other than that until 6 months. They also should have passed a few developmental milestones. Like sitting up on their own, lose of tongue thrust reflex, and pincer grasp.

Breast milk or formula. Anything else is too much for a 4 month olds tummy.

I did just breastmilk until six months. Formula would work just as well though.

We waited for the ok from his dr (which she gave at 4 months) to start the baby food. Just a couple bites a day to help the tummy get use to it.

Don't believe the whole 6 months for baby food bs....all three of my kids started baby food at four months. Mind you they could sit up and swallow just fine. And milk just wasn't enough for them. You should follow your gut momma you got this!
