Another set back! Had an ultrasound yesterday and the doctor says we have retained tissue.

Oh no!! I'm sorry to hear that😔 does this mean you have to go for a D & C? What did they see to say there was retained tissue?

@donn1419, They can see tissue retained in an ultrasound and measure it. Because of its size they are hoping some medication will avoid the D&C so we are really hoping to avoid the procedure, as they can lessen your chances of being able to conceive (we’ve had 4)

Did they give you pills to insert? I took those a couple weeks ago....

@donn1419, No the inserts don’t work at this stage we got two injections and we wait, along with some hefty antibiotics!

Oh man:( I'm so sorry you are going through this. I know the whole waiting part was harder for me because all I wanted to do was move on and i couldn't until I took the pills. I hope everything goes smoothly for you.

@beakymcspence I hear ya! That's why we started ttc as soon as I stopped bleeding . I am impatient! And our dr gave us the go ahead so we thought, why not?! I hope you don't have to wait too long to try again!
