Everytime i put my down for a nap my middle child calls my name a million times n wakes my baby up…

What is it that he needs?

Oh hell no, if my kids repeatedly call my name they get in trouble. Even my 4 year old knows not to do this, you call once and get no response it means get off your butt and come find me if you need me.

Maybe have snacks set somewhere he knows that he can get them without you being asked or your help.

@iwannaplay, curious do you do this in your house? I have snacks where my kids can access but they have to ask first if not they would eat all the snacks in one day lol, kinda wondering if I just have a bunch of savages.

Yes I do they have set snacks when they’re gone they’re gone. The kids know what they are allowed to take and do that and nothing more. Fruit and veggies are unlimited chips/cookies/crackers are set aside in snack bags and they are allowed one and only one drinks are unlimited as well. In my home it’s water from the cooler, juice, or cashew milk

Do you trust him to do his own shots yet? If not maybe getting him squared away before baby goes down is a good idea

@iwannaplay no he just know how to check his own blood n i tried that he still calls me n ask me silly questions

@iwannaplay, one a day or what? My kids would take one every 20 min lol... they are only allowed water so drinks aren’t a problem but my kids would eat us out of home and never eat a meal

@myboys1962, my friends son was diagnosed type one last summer I cannot imagine how hard dealing with that would be with a baby!

@mimixtmn yes its very hard bcus he sneaks snacks that he knows he cant eat so i have to hid everythg

@mimixtmn, not per day but they get one snack between mid day and another in the evening I keep telling types separate. Like sweets they decide if they are having that before or after dinner not both. Eat your sweet snack mid day don’t ask for another after dinner. My kids are pretty on it but they also know mom isn’t playing and if your little butts run outta snacks oh well

My youngest is a bottomless pit so he munches I don’t know how that kid is so small. Almost 6 and the size of maybe a 4 yr old
