I just fed my son spaghetti with sweet Filipino spaghetti sauce and he loved it. I’ve been trying lately to cook more Filipino food since I didn’t grow up eating it and it was ok. It is sweet and all, but I wasn’t a huge fan about it. 🤷🏻♀️ I can’t wait to try to make more Filipino food and also learn to make some Salvadorian food too for my boyfriend.

@olivbee, it really is. 🤤 I’ve already gotten the hang of making lumpia and pancit at home. They’re pretty much the only things I’ve had besides sotanghan soup lol

@xfatalnikkix, I try to make pancit & lumpia but it’s never as good as it is when an actual Filipino person makes it. I’ve also made adobo before, that turns out pretty good but still, I’m missing that special little cultural touch.

@olivbee, I think between those two, lumpia is the easiest to make. I’ve made pancit maybe 3-4 times and the last time I made it was better cause it had flavor unlike when I barely started making it. 😂 do you mind sending me the recipe you use to make adobo?

I love lumpia and pancit, I’m iffy on pork blood, I love sig sig , fried duck , sinagon if that’s right? The sweet and sour pork soup lol I’m still learning 😭 I absolutely hate balut! Lol
