So my insurance is letting me pick between a Medela Pump and Style Advanced and a Spectra S-2. I am reading reviews for each, but unsure.. what do you moms ended up prefering?

I had the Medela and it was okay. I wasn't super impressed with it. Plus it's an open system which grosses me out. I've heard great things about the Spectra so I'm going with that this time around.

I had Medela with my last child. I loved it but this time I’m going with the Spectra. I’ve heard so many great things about it.

Spectra was amazing!!! I used medela in the hospital and didn’t love it. If I had to explain it, medela was made by a man and spectra was made by a woman. Not sure if that makes sense but spectra was gentle to me but still very efficient. Medela felt rough and like it was meant to get a job done without consideration for the person using it lol
