Does anyone know how far dilated or shortened you have to be to have a cerclage placed? I dont understand why they are waiting two weeks to check again.

@momofboys3, possibly. I thought for sure I was getting a cerclage and bed rest but for some reason I didn’t. I ended up delivering at 38 weeks.

This pregnancy I am currently 25+1 dilated to 2. Cervix is normal length. No cerclage but in pelvic rest.

@kalidream i haven't started dilating yet maybe that's why idk my doctors never have any answers

I have no idea.. I guess it just depends on your situation.🤷🏽‍♀️ 9 years ago I was dilated to 4 at 23 weeks.. I don’t remember how shortened my cervix was but I never had one placed. Sorry I’m no help.
