I would never ever ask for this because that’s not who I am but, today my family got devastating new.. 2 1/2 years ago we got custody of a 5 month old baby. Her parents were in jail constantly for drug charges. Her mom had her rights stripped from her. Her father came to us for help because he knew he couldn’t give this little girl the life she deserved. We took her in with open arms. Since then this little girl has got me wrapped around her finger. She’s my little sister, my partner in crime.. Her biological family hasn’t had had much contact at all.... Missed birthdays and holidays without even a call. This little girl wouldn’t even be able to tell who they are if you asked her.. we got papers saying her parents are wanting custody stripped from my mom and given to her fathers cousins... Nyla (my little sister) has never met them. Hasn’t met any part of that family.. Guys please pray... I need all the support and love I can get.. Being pregnant adds a lot of obstacles to the situation.. She is so excited for her baby and I couldn’t imagine her not being in his life.. I mean all I can think about is her crying asking where mommy and sissy are... this house would be traumatizing for her... We go to court July 9th.. My husband also leaves for the academy July 8th.. so he will not be here for support... Thank you guys so much.. just keeping my family in your thoughts and prayers is greatly appreciated!

🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 That’s awful they would take this baby girl away from the only family she’s ever known. I really hope they take that into account. 💖
