Guyysssss do you turn off your car engines before getting out to pump gas?! Cause I do and I’m not…

@cori.severs, I alllwways do. If I have my son I roll down his window all the way first. Over the weekend myself my son and his dad were in the car and we had to get gas and he didn’t turn off the car it was like 105 out and he didn’t want us to boil but like....my anxiety was through the roof about it once I realized the car was on still and he was pumping gas 😭

@tinyhumansbitch, girl! I was dying the other day getting gas and my bf left the car on cause it was 105 out and he said he was just trying to keep us cool buuuut id rather sweat for 2 minutes than die 😭

@noahs.mommy, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll die. Like. Highly. However. If your caught the place of business will be fined and shut down so you caused someone to potentially lose their livelihood.

@squishymommy1, yeah I guess years and years ago cars interior were made out of something that easily caused static but now they aren’t but I mean still 😂 it drives absolutely crazy.

@noahs.mommy, they take that shit seriously. I would never be able to forgive myself if someone saw me hop out. Not turn my car off. Fill my tank and then they get shut down and lose their license.

So husband’s not turning the engine off to pump gas must be a thing. My husband never does. I always do, Idk I’m just paranoid. I turn the engine off, lock my doors, take my keys, but I roll down my back windows if my kids are in the car.

Not sure if we have any laws on this in my state. But sometimes I turn it off, sometimes I don't, just depends. But I'm also not pumping my own gas here lol so I feel like if the guy at the pump was concerned about it he would just ask me to turn my car off.

I definitely do! I didn't know so many people didn't 😲 if my kiddos are in the car I roll down the windows while I pump gas
