It’s super aggravating to go to the doctor and they completely ignore me.. I’ve told them every day for the past two weeks I pass out. They tell me it’s normal. Well today when the nurse checked my blood pressure it was 112/70. Then my doctor came in and checked me to see if I dilated and I told him I was about to pass out.. he checked my blood pressure and it was 84/82 it a matter of 2 seconds my blood pressure bottomed out and he keeps telling me it’s normal...
@dallaslund5, that’s excatly what would happen to me. Sometimes I would have a little notice to sit down before I fainted but not everytime. I fainted at work and went into labor and delivery and that’s when they did all the test!! I would really make them do a holster monitor or check your heart rate especially if they are making you go to 42 weeks. I hope everything starts to get better. It’s not fun. But it gets better after you have the baby. I am suppose to still be taking the pills but I feel 200% better and I don’t want it passing to baby anymore.
@dinamarie1995, I get super hot, my heart beats fast, my ears start ringing and then I’m out.
That’s soo frustrating I’m so sorry. Do you feel like your chest is palpating really fast when you pass out
@dinamarie1995, no they haven’t checked anything but my blood pressure and he also told me he wouldn’t induce me until I was after 42 weeks. I’m currently 38 weeks and still not dilated but I’m 70% efface
I did the same thing so they did a heart monitor and put me on a beta blocker and it worked. Yeah it’s normal but not if it keeps happening. The beta blocker made me feel so much better and now that I have had my son it doesn’t happen anymore. My issue was my pulse would go to 200 then I would pass out. Have they checked your pulse
They won’t let me switch doctors since I’m 38 weeks.. I’ve called every doctor in the area and they won’t see me because I already have been seen by another ob..
Okay let me tell you a story about the worst doctor I’ve ever had... so I kept having this weird dizzy feeling of almost passing out. And whenever I went in and told them, they checked my blood pressure and it was usually 140/90 which is on the high side. Well my doctor proceeded to tell me that having a slightly high blood pressure is “normal” for a pregnant woman because “you have more blood flow throughout you’re body”. I didn’t know any better so I was just like okay, cool. Well come to find out that’s actually complete bullshit and the OPPOSITE is true. That a slightly low blood pressure is actually normal for being pregnant, therefore anything higher than a normal blood pressure is a cause for concern. Needless to say I switched my doctor and had to be induced because of high blood pressure. The point is, don’t just blindly trust you’re doctor!! If you feel as if something is wrong, keep pushing and possibly switch to a doctor that hears you more.
