My husband’s idea of doing the dinner dishes ‘To help me out’
Means fitting what he can into the dishwasher and leaving the rest on the counter ‘for the next dishwasher load’
By the end of the day the dishwasher is about full, it’s rare that any of the pots or pans used for dinner fit. Leaving me to still be the one to finish everything once the little dude is asleep. 🙄
Why are simple life skills so difficult for guys? Cooking, dishes, laundry, being clean in general. I am determined to make sure my son can take care of himself when he’s older!
Same I have two boys and i refuse to have them turn out like him. When I go home he calls everytime to ask what to put the washer on and he only eats out or make sandwich like really your 40 and can't do this
@mhbbb2, his parents definitely didn’t make him do anything. His parents both worked and had a housekeeper come once a week, neither of his parents can cook (his mom didn’t know the difference between a cucumber and a zucchini) my husband and his brother grew up eating anything in a can that could be made into some sort of casserole. She has asked me how I do my laundry, “Do I use hot or cold water for this?”
Needless to say, I get real nervous when they come to town and she wants my son to stay the night with them. Luckily they live in Florida and she only asks for him to stay maybe twice a year lol
