So, I was feeling down about not being able to do a baby shower due to no family and my friends all being out of state. My MIL asked for a list of what we need and said that they were already kind of planning a baby shower at her work, I wouldn't be there it would just be anyone who wanted to help. My fiance knows how desperately I actually wanted to have a baby shower because I feel like I'd be missing out on the experience. He said if that was going to happen to atleast invite them over and we could have the whole thing and it would be fun. Of course this wouldn't be until like the beginning of October but I feel awkward, as I've met a couple people but I know it won't be the same being surrounded by a bunch of people I don't or hardly know... mixed emotions.. any advice?!

- I think it will be a great experience! Yes you may feel a bit awkward but at the end you will enjoy it. You won't even realize you don't know those people. You will be having fun making memories with new people. So I say do it. Enjoy it. Best of luck mamaa! Don't over stress it 😊

I think it will be fun! It’s nice to see people caring and wanting to be involved. For my second my MiL threw me a surprise shower with all of her friends and I didn’t know but maybe 2 of them. But they still made everything so much fun and now my second has more people that care about her other than just family :)
