Ladies.... I need some advice/help😅 Tomorrow morning I’m being induced. I’ve never been in that situation. What are somethings that I might need to know or expect??? I’m so freaking out and idk what to expect🤪

I know pitocin makes the contractions more intense, and if they have to bust your water it doesn’t hurt, but I felt it actually pop. Other than that I’m not sure what happens because I was already so close to to having my bbg when they decided to go ahead and send me into full blown labor.

@rebelprincesz24, omg😱 I’m just so nervous about everything.... my water has never broke on its own and every time they had to break it, the contractions were stronger and more painful😖

@bsandra, I totally agree as soon as they broke my water the contractions were super painful it made me sweat, I was begging them to let me push but had to wait on my dr to get there

@bsandra, all depends on how you dilate, are you dilated any whatsoever?

@rebelprincesz24, I went to my appointment last Thursday and my midwife said I was 3cm dilated. I’ve been having contractions for like 2 weeks and nada🤷🏻♀️ Today, I thought she was coming on her own cause the contractions were consistent, 5 minutes apart and they lasted more a minute but they just literally stop after 30 or an hour later.

@bsandra, ahh gotcha well good luck to ya mama. Hope it goes pretty quickly for ya especially if you’re like me and doing it natural.

They might give you Cytotech or Cervadil first. That's what started labor for me. They didn't give me Pitocin until well into the next day. Baby & I both reacted poorly to the Pitocin (heart rate issues) so they immediately took us off it.
I suffered through back labor contractions for many hours trying to do it natural (as if that's some kind of holy grail), but my labor didn't really progress until I accepted the epidural, and then my body was able to relax and my cervix could do its thing. I did end up with a C-section after 2 hours of pushing. Just know that sometimes inducement doesn't end the way we would like. Hopefully you will have a different experience!
