Probably a silly question but does everyone get an induction at 37 weeks? And what is it for?

No, I wasn’t even going to be offered an induction until I was 42 weeks. Luckily my son came before that. I’m not sure why so many people on here are being induced at 37 weeks.x

You will only be induced at 37 or so weeks for medical reasons. You may be offered an induction after 41 weeks if you don’t go into labour naturally x

No only for medical reasons or if you go over x
