Do any of you have a friend who pretends to be in your child’s life but hasn’t actually met them? (I.e. calls them niece/nephew, sends texts saying they love them) My son is two months old and one of my best friends didn’t even come see me through the whole pregnancy, and has yet to meet my baby, and isn’t going to in the foreseeable future, do I have the right to be upset?

Everyone who isn't around always wants to be auntie lol I had to cut off quite a bit of people wen I was prego and after because it is upsetting at times and I just felt I'd rather try to make new friends that are in same boat or understand the mom life rather then keep getting disappointed in everyone flaking or saying there always there even just to talk n then no where to be found wen I need them. Stay strong mama I think a lot of moms go through this it's hard but it also shows u who your real friends are.

Yea I’ve those kind of “friends” and I would get upset to, but I don’t care anymore, you learn who your real friends are when you start having kids and that’s ok, I rather keep the few real friends than a bunch of fake ones

To me that's not a friend. I deffinitly would be upset if they considered themselves part of my child's life when they really aren't!
