@momofboys3, ask them about it. It goes right up on your cervix. It’s for when you are not favorable for a cerclage. It releases progesterone to keep that cervix strong. If you’re not dilating or funneling- that’s a good thing. I stayed at a 2.8 May last pregnancy from 19 weeks on. I had also had a cerclage at 13 weeks and weekly Makena injections

@laniejay I am already on makena shots for having a short cervix last pregnancy and they arent helping

@momofboys3, sounds like they should have given you a preventative cerclage. When were your babies born? I had a 23 weeker so they did everything in their power in my next pregnancy.

Is a 2.8 dialated. I'm asking cause now you have me freaking out .they check my cervix every 2 weeks because of my last pregnancy I delivered at 34 weeks but Dr said my cervix was a 2.8 last appointment . is that bad then she didn't say it was

@momtwo4 2.8 in length not width. Its becoming thinner I haventye started dilating yet

@momtwo4 they are only worried because I am so early and when i start shortening I start dilating pretty fast.

Me either . thank god. I take weekly progesterone shots as well
