I take all of my kids with me to my appts.

But then again i dont see an actual ob hes our family doctor.

How do they do cervic checks when you have your kids?

Make the 9YO hold the 1Yo and have them all face the wall it only takes like a minute for a cervix check

Nurses at my office will take the kids out of the room and distract them so they can do a check...maybe they will do that!

I just let my midwife check in front of my daughter. I don’t think it’s a huge deal. I explain to her that only doctors can do that and explain what they are checking. Idk- I’m really open with my daughter.

Although your children range in different ages so i don’t know about a 9 year old and a one year old wouldn’t understand.

I line them up along the wall and put netflix on my phone. I just have the oldest and middle watch the phone my 1 year old could care less what happens

If they check your cervix I would just make the kids stand on the other side.

Luckily I got someone to watch them. I wouldnt mind having my 9 year old daughter in there, but my 5 almost 6 year old is a boy and I dont think he would enjoy being in there. They're small rooms. If I had to have taken them I would have though because I havent had a cervix check yet and they told me I need one this time and not to miss my appointment.
