Lol can your water break without you feeling any pain or contractions ? Just wondering. I feel like…

I was reading on the what to expect app, usually 85% of the time the water breaks during active labor. Only 15% will have a trickle without contractions.

My sister's water broke and she didn't realize it for almost two days...just thought she kept peeing. She did have slight contractions but not anything worse than she had throughout her pregnancy, so she just thought it was normal pregnancy cramps.

With my first I never felt any contractions I thought I was peeing on myself until I realized it wouldnt stop coming out

With my second my water broke and I felt like I was peeing every time I walked but the only thing was I wasn't having contractions in the front I was having back contractions so my back just felt like really irritated like I pulled something. Hope that helps

Yeah it does help. Thanks ladies. I feel no pain so it’s gross but I’m sure I peed😒😒 I’m just scared of going into labor and not knowing I’m in labor. It’s my first time and ugh idk much about this stuff

@nomli @sydneykay12 that's exactly what happen to me with my first so if you think it's a possibility get checked I had no clue i has in labour at first on the 3rd day i finally had contractions that were painful so i went in and i had been slowly leaking fluid

Its best to get checked just because if your water did break after 24 hrs it increases chances of infection. I was always told if i felt uneasy to go in to the doctor or the hospital. Even if it turned out to be nothing.
