I wonder if my child waking up has anything to do with him not using his pacifier at night anymore. 🤔 or is there like a one year old sleep regression? Lord, if I know. I just want 6 hours of sleep 😂

@idontwant2bapie, omg how long did it take for him to get used to not having it? I kinda gave in his morning 😭 I needed him to settle down.

My son has only been sleeping through the night for about 6 months so I was getting used to having my sleep back 😂

@idontwant2bapie, oh geez lol I’ve probably got a long way to go. Jais doesn’t care much for the pacifier during the day but he really needs it during naps and bedtime so it has been hell to get him to go to sleep without it. I just wasn’t prepared for it to cause him to wake up in the middle of the night.

He was doing 12 hour stretches too so I feel ya! I am so tired and he’s just full of energy. Like, how?! Lol

I’m not even going to try and take my 15 month olds pacifier. I know I would be in for one heck of a sleepless night. I just let him have it only when he sleeps and when I get him up, I tell him to put his paci away and he throws it into his crib. I really hope he just one day decides he doesn’t need it 😩 I will probably try taking it away when he turns 2 and he’s still using it.

Yeah, I wasn’t planning on taking my son’s away but he’s always throwing them and losing them so I didn’t have a choice at first. It’s been rough. It takes him about an hour to fall asleep and there are a lot of tears.
