Well, hubby's going fishing. Glad but annoyed because he's going and didn't get permission to use the car from my sergeant mom, she's in the hospital in the mental ward. She was nice enough to let him use it for work because our car is not safe to drive. I'm only glad he's going so he will be out of my hair because I still don't feel good. Had a long day yesterday and night because I wasn't feeling good and I thought my dog was in labor, false alarm. She's back to normal and her water never broke. He's so selfish sometimes. Also yesterday he was so annoying, I felt awful and he just kept being obnoxious all day. So I'm hoping he's pretty much gone fishing the whole day. Also don't really have the money for him to be doing extra stuff but I'm so desperate for him to be out of my hair, I don't care about it. 🤔

Dogs don’t typically have a “water break”, each pup is in an individual sac which will break once she is either pushing pup out or pup will be born still in the sac.
(Just not sure if your a first time furbaby mumma and were waiting for it to break as a sign of impending labour or if you were generally just talking about waiting for labour to start)

@l_xi91 yeah I am a first time fur baby mama and I've never had a dog that had puppies. I put her back down in the basement bathroom with water and food and a blenket and she definitely is not her self. So I was told that she is still in labor

@angelbrownell26, if she hasn’t already had them by now usually the signs are nesting if you have a bed for her where she can “move things” eg ours always have shredded paper or hay and the mumma will push and move it all around until she has her “nest”. And usually a day before delivering she will go off her food somewhat. That’s always my biggest indication of pups coming, that mums tend not to eat an excessive amount right before. Keep her well hydrated and good luck with your new fur babies 🐶🐶 dogs are generally pregnant for 62 days so if you know when she got pregnant you’ll have a better indication of when she is due and they are usually pretty spot on the day too. Put up some photos!! 😃

@l_xi91 she was in labor for 36 hours with no puppies, i had to give her up to save her and her babies life. 😭💔 we are going to try and adopt her back if they let us. To get her care it would cost 1,000-1,200$. This unfortunately was my only option.😢
