@arlindaseja well at that age I pretty much did what @idontwant2bapie said. A lot of redirection. Now that hes older we just talk. I try nt to lecture because I hated being lectured as a kid so I usually just get my point across and let him know what he did was wrong and I remind him if u are good u will be rewarded so he keeps that in the back of his mind. I mean u learn as they grow because at the same time we are teaching and learning new things together so I just feel like hitting wont get my point across and neither will yelling. Theres so many different alternatives than to resort to a spanking. But, to each their own.
I dont spank my oldest and everywhere I go someone tells me how well behaved he is. Idk my parents didnt spank me so I chose to do the same and I came out pretty well rounded bt best believe some kids I be like dang u need a spanking
@idontwant2bapie, Do u find it helpful with the behavior? Do u think when they grow up that it will work with them having respect and being a good n kind hearted person? I’m still trying to figure out this whole discipline thing. She’s started to not listen to me and always throws tantrums
