Does a cat move her kittens if you touch them ? I have a yard cat I didn’t know was pregnant and I found two newborn kittens under my porch and I’m scared they will get rained on .😞
@morelhunter, omg lol they know haha I know hell I can barley afford to feed myself
@morelhunter, I have two inside cats too I think one slipped out and is pregnant too I can’t have all these cats lol I’m wore out from all the kids but it’s not their fault they was brought here I love them
We looked at our kittens once and she moved them.
Honestly, no, don't them, don't risk her abandoning them or worse.
Do you have gloves? If so you could put them on and try moving them with momma present.
She can, or she may abandon them. I have outside cats and one had kittens in the wood pile and I found them but never touched them and she moved them.
My nana had a dozen outside cats at all times. She lived in the country and left food out so they made her place their home. She had a covered porch and would put a box with towels in it on the porch for them. If you touch the kittens she will more than likely move them. But you can leave an enclosed shelter like a litter box with a top on it or a tote with a hole in the side with blankets in it near where the kittens are and she may use it.
I’m sure if it started raining she would find them shelter.
