First find out what your hospital provides. For example my first hospital didn't provide numbing spray (dermoplast) And the one I'm going to now does provide it. Definitely check what they supply you with hun
I also recommend you watch some YouTube videos.... And don't be afraid to overpack
It's better to be prepared and not need it than to need it and not have it . Who cares if you end up not using it , at least you know you have everything you need !
I didn’t pack much but 2 sets of pjs and a going home outfit, socks, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, hair ties and some chapstick. Also phone charger( long one you might need if you can’t get up from bed easily since the hospital beds tend to be a bit away from the walls.
They usually give you all the necessary things including their very ugly but comfy lightweight underwear, socks, even the normal toiletries like shampoo, soap, mouth stuff and all.
I over packed and was so thankful for it, in my case I ended up being rushed for an emergency c section, pack a few 4-5 baby outfits a blanket and the rest the hospital provided for me, it’s mostly for you and dad pack charger some clothes a towel cause hospital towels are horrible lol some slides or flip flops to shower toiletries for both of you guys and some granny panties, the first time I put on my leggings and stood up it was like my water breaking all over again so make sure you pack extra for you & an empty bag for the dirty clothes.

I agree with @meximommy, see what they provide first and go from there ! My hospital doesn’t provide pacifiers ! With my first son I packed
- baby outfit to go home
- my outfit to go home
- phone charger
- old underwear (since you will be bleeding)
- sports bra (it was more comfortable for me)
- my own toothpaste
- my toothbrush
- slippers
- pjs for me

Chapstick! It’s a life saver. Hospitals seem to make your lips dry and you’ll defiantly want it. I was so glad I packed some !
