It’s hard! I feel so guilty for not being around enough but I have to work. When my son cries that he doesn’t want to go to nursery it breaks my heart so bad.

It's really hard.... I've missed my son saying mama and him crawling for the first time. But I keep telling myself that its worth it because his belly is full and a roof over his head so even if I suffer at least hes not.

@ashtonndamon, it’s true, we do it because we have to. I just wish we didn’t have to

I work M-F and on those days only get about an hour and a half to 2 hours with my daughter. It's frustrating and I feel bad about it constantly. But I just make sure that the weekends we spend all of our time together.

I had the hardest time being a working mom! Juggling work, commute, daycare, cooking, and cleaning was way too much stress for me. I always felt like a crappy employee, parent, and wife because I couldn't give anyone all of me. This is my first week as a SAHM and it's been so good for my mental health. I so feel your pain! Just keep doing your best - it's all you can do! You're doing what you have to do for your kiddo. You're a great mama!

I am a working mom to. Between my hour long commute and 8 hour day I don’t get to see my son as much as I would like but I need to work and to be honest I like to work. It was hard the first few weeks but it’s better now. I have a great daycare and when I get home the look on my sons face is priceless! He gets so excited to see me. He always reminds me what I am working for. I prep as much as I can on the weekend and at night to make my days as easy as possible. Also just go with the flow because things will go wrong and that’s ok. I also pump so that takes extra prep buts it’s worth it. Good luck!

I work anywhere from 60-80 hours a week... I agree it’s definitely hard to be away from your kids. I just have to remind myself I’m trying to better their life and keep them supplied with all needs/wants.
