I had a birth plan but things get so unpredictable when it’s actually time for labor & delivery. My main thing was Skin to Skin, breastfeeding, and to wait before cutting her umbilical cord.
@livinglovinglife, that’s what I basically have. Who I want in the room, in case of c section than I want the father in, waiting for the umbilical cord, skin to skin, breast feeding. I know things go crazy so I didn’t want to sound to in control
Yeah, birth plans never go as planned and are rarely used once the show begins, honestly and from my experience... Knowing the basics should be fine - anything else is a set up for unmanageable/undurable expectations in the moment, in my opinion. Granted I know most FTM will continue on with them 😋

I never had a birth plan for any of my kids other then have them and i wanted drugs and to brestfeed lol
