I had my first obgyn appointment in San Francisco today and I did nothing but fill out paperwork and answer a bunch of stupid questions from a social worker?!
It was questions like, was your father a drunk and I said yes (because he was)
then she accuses me of turning to alcohol when I get stressed, and I repeatedly told her I’ve barely ever drank! Like wtf!
Why is she even there for??? I feel like she’s gonna try to get my baby taken away from me! 🤭🤭🤭 😱😱😱

Yeah it's probably because you haven't had care till now. If you're not doing anything wrong then don't worry, probably just protocol. They're trained to ask pointed questions. Why did you wait long?

@unicorn_mommy, @veemitchell, it’s a new obgyn. I moved and had to transfer my insurance so I missed a few weeks of care. I didn’t know social workers had anything to do with pregnancy, the surprises of being a new mom! 💁🏼♀️💁🏼♀️

@blonde_bitch, thank you, 🙂💙 i just got nervous and my husband thinks it’s not normal for a social worker to talk to us out of no where, it worried him too. I don’t like the social worker or the new ob......
But I could see how they would think someone missing care could be hiding something. Can’t wait to prove them wrong and flip em all off on the way out!! Lol
