My son really scared me today. The house we are renting in doesn’t have like the chain locks on the door so my son can easily unlock the door and open it.. well I have my nephew and the doorbell rings and the guy knocks. Usually my son will sit down on the couch and be quiet while I see who it is but I guess this time he thought it was my brother in law or sister getting my nephew.. I get to the door and my son has the door wide open and my son dog and nephew all at the door cause the raced to the door and a man is just standing there going door to door for lawn service. I can’t even imagine if I was in the shower or something and my son was downstairs alone so now I’m having my husband put a chain lock on my door idk how anyone can rent a place out without something like that on a door smh

Yikes that’s really scary! We have these on my doors where the kids can’t reach.

@modom16, yea we definitely gotta get something up where he can’t reach I started crying thinking what if I wasn’t downstairs and couldn’t really hear what was going on

Scary! My daughter did the same to my bf. He was in the bathroom and she must have thought he had left or something. She opened the door and our dog ran out. So she chased after her barefoot! My bf got out of the bathroom and noticed the door open ran outside screaming her name.. some lady directed him to were she was walking. My bf is still running and screaming her name. He noticed a man carring her to the school in front of out house. My Bf ran to him crying.. thank god someone with a heart stopped her and was taking her somewhere safe.
My daughter is 4. When she first started talking both of our names was one of the first things we taught her.
