Hi all what can I do to keep lo’s temperature down? She’s bin up and down since yesterday with it but it just keeps getting so high. She’s had calpol every 4 hrs or so and have stripped her down to her nappy. Also had a cooler bath last night. What do u ladies do?

Have you tried nurofen in between the calpol? I find it works better it lasts a little longer too you can give it every 6 hours

@jennyrodd88, @vixster, thank u. Il try the nurofen. Unfortunately we don’t have a fan. I’m taking her back to the doc in a min as I’m just not happy x

What's her temp? Do paracetamol then two hours later ibuprofen then calpol again after 2 hours xx @loular16

@chesscalouise2, her temp ranges from 38 - 39. Doc just said to carry on with the calpol and fluids and these things take about a wk to go. Thank u il try it xx

39 is really high especially for her age what do they think is wrong? Maybe she needs antibiotics If its still 39 tomorrow I'd go to a&e xx @loular16
