I'm on the pill... I take it same time every day.. my period started yesterday..5 days early? Lol…

I’m been spotting off and one since starting the pill a month ago. But if you’ve been on it for a year, talk to your OB, they may need to switch it.

@littleonemorning I'm not looking to get back on a pill because we are going to start TTC #2 but I just wanna make sure it's not implantation bleeding... I'm cramping but it's a very light flow so idk.. I was hoping for a summer babe....

@lilaa_dunne16, ah. Okay. Hm, I mean sometimes your body can kinda get used to the pill, but if you’ve recently stopping take it that can also make your hormones wonky and start your period early. When I got off mine before getting pregnant again, my period started crazy early.

@littleonemorning I was waiting to get my period this month which was due this Sunday or Monday... Then I was not going to refill my prescription next month... I want to get my body rid of the hormones before we starting actively trying.. I usually take it between 330-5 every day lol it's not the same exact time but ive never had a problem with starting my period if I take it 30mins to an hour late so its just kinda weird lol

@lilaa_dunne16, Are you sure it’s your period or spotting? But either way, it’s not uncommon lol

@littleonemorning it's definitely different then my other periods... Like I said I'm having light cramps and the color is darker than normal.... Not enough to wear a tampon. and normally on my second day I would be bleeding like crazy

@taylorsmommy1017 so I should prob wait till next week and if I don't have another period? Test? Idk I'm not sure lol when I got pregnant with my daughter we we're trying and it happened in a month and it was easy I didn't have any bleeding

@taylorsmommy1017 I only have today and tomorrow left for my hormone pills on my pack.. should I take them or no?

@taylorsmommy1017 alright.. Seems like the bleeding is stopping I just went pee and it was pretty non existent... I'll wait til I'm supposed to start my actual period and test.. thank you for your help!! :)

From my experience, I still have irregular periods from time to time on the pill, some months it’s nonexistent, to very light spotting, to not super heavy but not light either. However I talked to my ob and it could very well be your reaction to the pill, I’d call and ask to make sure though.

@pipelinemama okk! Just wanted to see what other people's opinions were! I want to be clear of the hormones anyway to start trying for #2 soon so this would be my last month on it anyway it just freaked me out cause it was so early and I haven't missed a pill this month lol

@lilaa_dunne16, lol oh yeah it still freaks me out to this day because I was on the pill 3ish years before I had my daughter and i has those reactions and even now after I’ve had her and on a different pill and it still happens 🤷🏻‍♀️

@pipelinemama ive never had an issue but I've never been on bc for this long either... Before I got pregnant with my daughter I was only on the pill for like 4 months lol
