Have u tried a nipple shield?? I just got one for the first time and it really makes all the difference

Make sure his tongue is under the nipple, chin is close to the breast, and both lips are outward and not curled in. If it still hurts you might have some broken skin. A nipple shield can help till it heals or you can put nipple cream on to help heal. Coconut oil or breast milk and let it air out as much as possible will help.

@newlywedmama21, I haven’t I’m all tapped out on buying stuff right now though. We are getting through it. I feel like I just need that “you can do it” constantly to keep going. I keep saying I quit and I’m gonna just feed him formula from now on but I just keep feeding him lol

@glencoco, I think it’s cracked. The right side doesn’t hurt. I’m using nipple cream and my milk.

@liz41395 you can do it!! You got this. And remember at the end of the day, FED is best. So whatever works for you guys and is least stressful is great.

@liz41395, if you contact your hospital they may be able to provide you with one. Just ask to talk to the lactation consultant and let them know the issue and that money is tight. I got one from the hospital. Never got to use it though. Hubby said he packed it but didn’t. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Seeing the lactation consultant is free at the hospital.. maybe you should pop up . I still talk to mines and I'm 14months in lol
