Look up "carseat class Cali" on google. They should pop up with the counties. You'll get a free convertible carseat upon completion of the class.

@theremyeverything, after I had my son. My sons dad never brought the car seat and they just offered but my mom went to get it. The nurse offered.

@theremyeverything if Cali offers them, you have to attend a physical class. And get it that day. But I'm not 100% on what program that state offers.

when i gave birth to my son in Los Angeles they gave me a carseat in the hospital.

Safe kids partnership for children helps with carseats. I got my sons toddler seat for free from them. I didn't have to take no class for it in my state.
