So I had my 38 week appointment this morning and they told me I was half a centimeter dilated. I was induced with my first born so I have no idea how this works but how fast does natural progression happen?

It’s different for everyone. My water broke when I was 3 cm dilated and I never progressed past a 6. Some people can be x amount of cms dilated for weeks, and the next person will go from 1-10 in 2 hrs

What @pumpernickel said, with my first I was 3 cm dilated water broke no progression without pitocin, second 1 cm and had a scheduled c-section. Natural induction doesn’t workout too well for most either, I tried everything to get my second here without having to choose her birthday.
