Any tips on how to get through contractions while in labor?

Walking, Bouncing on a Ball, Deep Breathing, and Yoga!

I say breathe. I held my breath and cried a lot when my contractions got strong and that didn't help a damn thing for sure. 😂

Drugs (epi)! Lol but no seriously....I really didn't get much relief except trying to breathe through them and being on all fours rocking back and forth on your knees. Figure 8s on the yoga ball helped with Braxton Hicks I didn't try with the real ones, just the breathing and rocking through those

Find a focal point in your room and just concentrate on that and your breathing. Try to keep your breath controlled

@newlywedmama21, do i have to take my own ball? Or will they provide one if i ask for it?

Breathing! In your nose, out your mouth. I gritted my teeth and held my breath with my first. Horrible idea. With my second the nurses talked me through each contraction to keep me focused. Its hard to breath when your in the middle of a contraction but OMG it helps!

Just Breathing & Eating Ice Chips With A Cold Rag On Your Head . It All Helped Me

Slow breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth

Force yourself to breath through them

I made a music play list on my phone. Lol. For real tho it helped.
