i feel like a bad mom for this.. but at the end of everyday i’m just so exhausted i wanna give up. since it’s summer i’m home w/ my son 24/7 M-F & sometimes my bf’s 4 yr old. it’s exhausting & by the end of the day i just wanna give up. i wanna crawl in a hole & hide. my son starts getting cranky around 5 in the evening & nothing i can do helps him besides taking him somewhere or his daddy holding him if he’s off work. it’s like he’s tired of me by the end of the day lol any tips on what you mommas do?! i’m going insane! & his bedtime isn’t until 8:30-9😭

Ohhhh how I remember those days!!! Hopefully it gets better for ya but I used to take mine for a walk or just outside on a blanket come in for a bath and nighttime routine. @kartersmommyy let's not play.....I still take them out because if not there is fighting!!! 😆

We all go through it! Don’t feel bad or be hard on yourself about it, usually I just try and keep Eliana entertained with toys her brothers do a lot of entertaining too lol but she still sleeps a lot so at the moment she still doesn’t do very much!!

I would take him to the park and just push him around in the stroller. It mite help getting some air for both of u.

Maybe hes not getting enough naps. Or not enough playtime. If you play with him like belly rolls or have him on a mat and encourage him to touch toys and explore he may be less cranky. My kiddo was always cranky unless she was encouraged to explore and play. Plus you could be going through a growth spurt or developmental bump where they are learning so fast they tend to be cranky.

@blessedwithgirls, it does get depressing. during the school year i was working 7 days a week, so i had lots of adult interaction. now, i’m home 24/7 w/ my son. i love my son but i just need a break. i give props to mommas who are full time stay at home moms

@vvrobinson, it might be naps. he takes about 2 naps throughout the day. when he’s not napping he’s either eating or having play time. i like to put him on the floor w/ some toys and let him roll around & learn to play by himself or in his excersaucer, but i also like to play w/ him too & interact w/ him. Idk maybe he just doesn’t like me lol
